I think you did a wonderful job Amanda and Lincoln. I think the room is very personal, and a wonderful mix of old and new. I love the wallpaper and the dark blue doors. I am also a big fan of your sofa lounge. I love your chairs but not the white fabric. I admire that you can make white work with all those cats! I can not make white work in this house, we are not capable of keeping white, white! I think you both should be very pleased and proud of yourselves, and the rest of the chateau is going to look wonderful, if the rooms that you have successfully completed are any indication. Well done and I hope you all spend many many comfortable hours as a family in that wonderful salon.

I LOVE your cats, thank you for rescuing them.. We bought a house in France many years ago, our families thought we were crazy, so I adore other people who do crazy things, not just dream. I am trying to get back there (from Texas, but we moved from England years ago), to paint the new front door and clean up after some building work in the hall way.. My husband died in October and I have not been able to get back...but I can enjoy your adventures meanwhile. I recently fell off a ladder too and so send my good wishes to your husband. We have spent many summers in Brittany and know it well. One time we were caught on the beach where you are, by the tide. Mother and I were making no progress so my husband picked me up, Father picked up Mother and they ran with us to safety. Take care of the tides they don't wait for anyone!

Wow! A beautiful restoration! You were brave to tackle that ceiling. I think the main focal point is still the fireplace and TV / French gallery wall is second. Is it possible to turn the furniture arrangement 90 degrees to give both equal status? It's hard to tell from the video if there is room. Enjoy your new room!

Oh what a fabulous family room!! I love the mix of old and new...the most interesting interiors I find. Ooh I think my fave parts are the gallery wall, the wallpaper and the colour scheme. Of course the rooms architecture is the star of the show though.

I love the mix of formality and whimsy (a taxidermied fox - fun!), and your choice of wall paper and paint colors is stately without being unapproachable. What is the name of the paint color you applied to the walls? It appears to be a combination of gray and putty, but I would sincerely appreciate you providing the actual paint color name and manufacturer. This color would be perfect in my living room (1930’s castle house architecture). LOVE your channel - I just subscribed!

aw, wow! I usually don't watch films in the morning, but I missed this stunning result yesterday evening. I was becoming a bit tired - never of your videos - but of this never ending ceiling. As if I was in charge restoring all of those cracks. I have no clue how somebody on earth could have such a patience. "the universal sign for plastering" had to be applied millions of times. I dearly admire both of your patience (and skills, and imagination). And now the petit salon sits there as if innocently whispering: it was just a bad dream, I always looked as awesome as now. congratulations!

I thought it was very funny when you made the reference to Lily Tomlin in that big chair, it reminded me of two of her movies Big Business and The Incredible Shrinking Woman!! You do magnificent work. I love the room however I would like to see and I know there’s a TV in there and you’re making it more so the focus is on TV, but I think some focus should be on the fireplace. Perhaps there could be a way to arrange something where there’s a sitting area in front of the fireplace and somehow the TV. But I just can’t stand TV and a beautiful room like this where there’s a beautiful fireplace. But perhaps and I’m sure there’s more than one room with fireplaces and then those rooms will be focused on the fireplace. So anyway, bottom line excellent work it looks beautiful and charming inviting.

Such a lovely room. Very calming and great choice of wallpaper and paint color. Only thing I might like to see is a sliding framed painting to cover the TV, when it's not in use. But, it does look nice within the setting with the framed things around it. Good job!

Tv When you buy a new tv bet the cables will go in the side 😂 You should have done an mfd box house if for the whole tv like in hotel rooms Limestone on the rads will stop all the heat ! Looks great though
