The fact u mentioned the poet Robert Frost from a previous description, gets u another subscriber. Been reviewing Victor's knives for ages now and he is truly a very great knife maker.

Been using knives for roughly sixty-two years. After thousands of trials with as many makes and models and steels and edge geometry, I've finally realized two things. No knife can do everything, and no knife fits every person. I've learned one other thing; the best survival knife is the knife you are most familiar with and have the most experience. Naturally, for that last statement to work, a person must possess a fair amount of knowledge. In other words, nobody needs a big knife to split wood if you know how to cut wedges with your little Mora Clipper; but familiarity and experience with a knife does tip the scale in your favor should you find yourself in an unexpected emergency. With that said, I think it's safe say that no matter what knife it is, big or small, scandi or convex, carbon or crucible; that blade that you find most comfortable, and have the most confidence and success in, is probably the knife that should be with you anywhere and everywhere you go; or at least have it within a few hundred meters of you at all times. Anyone who goes afield knows that it is always advantageous to have with you many blades for different tasks; but that one special blade should always be on your person or in your vehicle at all times. If someone gave me this knife to try out, I certainly would; but I've already found what works best for me and can't see spending money on it, even though it's a great price.

WTG just keeps getting better at their craft. I have a Kitsune S and it is sweet. It came with a mirror polish edge, 3 sets of different color G10 handle scales, the excellent sheath, AND a WTG Beer Koozie!!

Great vid Mark, love the review, very nice and capable knife, I’m growing a lot towards convex edges the last couple of months, they for some reason seems to cut a lot easier and actually are a joy to maintain their sharpness, real easy, thanks for sharing Mark, enjoy your weekend

Convex is greatly under rated. I think people fear the sharpening process. Truth is, it is probably the "original" blade edge before modern technology. Thanks for commenting

G'day Mark, not that I answer them, .. but yep knives do speak to me; ..... this one says "I'm right up your alley mate" ; ) Lotta joy to be had with a convex and the trick with full flat or very high sabre IMO, is the taper angle from spine, or "sabre line", to edge and this one appears to have nailed it. I really dont know what else to say ........ for a change ; ) Suffice to say, ....... WINNER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers Duke

The problem with Work Tough Knives is finding one to buy. Convex edges still dull after use and it is not easy for many users to sharpen a convex edge to factory sharpness. The weight of the knife is not a problem however, that depends on how important it is to the user. It would be a plus if you had a choice of a leather sheath over a plastic sheath.👍

An interesting camp knife for sure. Thanks for the review. How is it for keeping it’s edge and rolling etc? Plus how easy is it for sharpening?

The convex edge is very strong. No chips or rolls. Easy to sharpen with the right technique. Thanks for commenting

That is a very nice all-around knife. Good review and great testing. Not with this knife, lol, but I was wondering if you could grab a stone from the beach and sharpen a knife? I mean, if you were in a place where you really needed to sharpen a knife.

I like the handle shape. The blade is nice and thick. The most important thing is, does it slice cheese really good? 😘😬✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️

I find when I randomly think about a knife a handful of times over a month or two then it must be something to take seriously. Lots of knives look grrat and I am sure are great but past the ooh aaw faxtor may not actually be for me.
