I have a question I’m so shy and need a job so bad and my McDonald’s is hiring but I’m so akward and bad at interviews. My worst fear is when I go to the window and have to give people their food or money and what if it’s boys and they smile and flirt how do u response?😭

Customer service is a great opportunity to practice socializing! I completely understand that you might feel uncomfortable but to be honest with you I used to be the same. Now I love talking to customers and helping them out when I can. There have been times that boys would come through and flirt a little but at the end of the day you can just choose to stay professional :) I usually just take it as a compliment and say “thank you so much, have a nice day!”

I do work at McDonalds and chick fil a . Trust me if someone flirts with you at the counter just smile and ignore !!😂 you can’t help and do anything about it ! Because I’ve come across many people like that

I just finished mine, idk if I got hired but here are some tips. It’s really easy compared to a lot of places, idk if this is your first job or not but basically when they ask you about yourself just say that you’re a hard worker and very patient and you learn things quickly. And make sure you have a lot of availability.

bruh my first day was terrible they barely trained me and expected me to know how to ring up orders. I also was getting rushed while counting change so i fucked up multiple times, they probably thought i was dumb but that wasn’t the case. I was just under pressure😂

I worked at mcDo Belgium in August. After 2 weeks I quit. I got a job in kitchen btw. Fast food really fast and I feel to slow and I'm so bad with assembling the burger. But I learned a lot at mcDo, crews were fun, I like the flexible hours. How many hours you have to work per week? I worked 20hr/ week at that time

Hi! I have a question so I don’t wanna say my age but I really need money because I’m saving for things, etc. so I’m not trying to give out my age but at 14 can u work at McDonald’s? I’m not 14 but I’m waiting for my working papers than when I get them i wanna see if when I turn 14 I can work there? And also I got held back so in middle school which I’m in than in 8th grade I’ll be 14 can u get working papers in middle school?

This all depends on your state’s working age. In some state, you can start working as young as 13 and others at 16.

You can ask your school for work authorization permit . Some jobs may let you.
