doing little jobs after work can be taxing on a guy. years ago, i worked at a big company 5 days/week and then sat and sun id work for another guy pouring concrete in a different town close by. i worked 45 days straight until winter came and the other guy shut down for the winter but i kept working at the big company doing steel work. im 50yrs old and still doing concrete. i dont do after work jobs any more but if someone else needs a finisher, they give me a call. they say if you find something you love doing, youll never work a day in your life. if thats the case, i havent worked in 30 yrs. :) keep up the good work eric.

When you have deadlines bro let the camera roll and keep working, you don’t need to explain everything you need to do just talk while working, within 5 minutes of footage you walked around “umm” and “ahhing” while other boys worked. No wonder you needed to stay so late, sometimes it’s not all about talking to people watching it’s about the work you do. Put the camera on a tripod in the corner and let your work speak for itself

Eric, whenever you are in-charge of a job site, you are liable for everyone who enters the site, even strangers or neighbors of the homeowner. Tell the person in a relaxed and calm manner, that you will listen to whatever they have to say, but not until they move to an area outside the boundry of the worksite. Tell them that they are trespassing, and that there are too many hazards and they have put their own safety into your hands by trespassing. If they refuse, warn them you will call the proper authority. They will more than likely tell you to go ahead and call the cops. That's when you reply with, "Cops, no, I am giving you a chance to remove yourself from the danger you have created by trespassing onto my worksite, and if you refuse just one more time, I will call, and I will have you charged for criminal trespassing by the County Sherif". Then once they are off of worksite, if they already wasted too much of your time, tell them because they wanted to argue, you no longer have time to listen to them, or you can listen to whatever they have to say, just always remember, always get them off the worksite, because you can be held 100% responsible for their safety.

@@timbruns3818 was legit curious. I don’t do concrete that’s why I was asking. The other videos I see there’s way more gravel. So go pound sand.

@@Medic055 Sand pounder here, If you don't understand concrete then why say there is only 5 gallon pale worth of gravel through out the whole job? That's just an absurd thing to think up and write in a comment. Haters are always gonna hate evidently.

@@DeTrOiTXX12 yeah it was pretty absurd of me to say that. Good thing your comment brought anything constructive to this conversation. 🙄

He’s what we call a event dad. Great guy and hard worker yes. But like the guy said he is always on the road or working or eating lunch with the guys even in the winter. I’m like damn why don’t he ever go home.
