Thank you so so much for all of your great tutorials! I just began learning Toon Boom a few weeks ago and found your channel the other day. Your videos are the only ones I've found that go beyond the standard "here's how you make a frame by frame ball bounce". You actually talk about things like industry standards and efficient workflow and it really helps to understand these things before bad habits form. And since I already work in the animation industry, all those other hand-holding basics tutorials get kind of tedious. I like that you get straight to the point and have provided tutorials that cater towards intermediate level animators. I can't wait to binge them all!

Thank you for the help, I'm starting with animation and trying to figure out the process. So, the fact you're sharing with us some of your knowledge and the little details of the process helps a lot. I had a lot of questions about how to use the turn around eficiently in my workflow, so I decided to look for videos showing how to do this, your workflow was exactly what I needed to watch and thank you so much for this.

Please know that the time you take to put these videos together is soooo appreciated. I had never touched animation until 2 months ago and now I have fumbled through to get my first video together thanks to you. I have a separate career, school is not even an option and I am doing this because I have a two year old that will love the video. Your personality is great! I hope all your friends have given you an awesome nickname that is ridiculously long and tell you how rad you are daily.

Another very helpful video - thank you! I’ve been wondering how people work with the rigs and this is the first workflow video I’ve found that really helps clarify the process. Greatly appreciated!

I'm loving your videos, even if I do not speak English I'm learning a lot. I would like to know how to get the character to go from one angle to the other, for example, he is facing forward and switching to the side without seeming to have a cut. thank you.

Thanks :D. I think this video might help if you are using multiple rigs with different views: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWjaipuZmZqibJo If you are using a 360 rig it's a bit easier, because you just keyframe the views you need on each frame, and inbetween them to smooth the transition.

Thank you for the great video. Are there significant differences between builds? How far back can I watch tutorial? Example, can I watch a Harmony 14 tutorial on rigging from 3 years ago? Would it still apply?
@StylusRumble4 жыл бұрын
Harmony doesn't remove things, they just add things lol. So if you learn stuff from 14 it will still apply to 17. However they may have added new things- particularly the constraints from 16 that you may find better for complex rigging. Personally, I think knowing more techniques is better because you never know when some old-timey trick will save a bunch of time. The real issue is when people think new is better, or they think the old way is the right way and just refuse to learn. I prefer to have a huge toolbox of old and new things and pick what is most efficient and useful. So all knowledge is valuable.
