Workflow - Exporting FBX Animation - iClone 8 to Unreal Engine

I'm not an expert on this (Self taught through KZbin University).
Passing my knowledge on how I export FBX animations from iClone 8 to Unreal Engine. Also, showing a little bit of the project I'm working on where Thanos vs Kratos vs Vegeta.

Hello, do not leave the "custom sample rate" section blank when importing the animation. Write 30 or 60 whatever there is. You won't believe how fast the animation will be imported :)

Try this out - BAKE all the THANOS animation in Blender - then export to unreal

How much time it takes to import the fbx file?

Quick question, why did you not go for the Rokoko suit at that price point?

When researching the Rokoko most reviewers talked about how less accurate or more cleanup that was needed when using the suit. The Xsens was used in more bigger movies/ shows and there was less cleanup. The price point is less expensive but the accuracy and quality in my opinion was better with the Xsens.

How do you export animation Like for an Example a Cape? I have a character with a cape, but the animation for that doesn't export, it just comes out flat, the rest of the animation on the Chracter works... Thanks

I don’t know exactly what you’re working with but as far as animations being rendered out you might need to add the cape animation to the sequence. If there isn’t any cape animation and it’s more of physics you would have to make sure that the physics of the cape are working
