Few things to add that this: 1. In 3ds Max you have to have your units assigned to centimeters, otherwise the exported objects into 3ds Max will be the incorrect scale. 2. If you're using V-Ray, it's going to create even more problems with the textures themselves because Quixel in its infinite wisdom cared little in properly assigning the variables such as these: • Normal maps need to have to their green channels flipped. Secondly you have to change these variables: "color space transfer function = NONE" and "RBG Color Space = Raw" because you don't want 3ds max to modify the data. Additionally, the bump value should be increased from 30 to 100 because normal maps don't have the intensity to hit the desired effect at a value of 30. • Diffuse and AO needs to be set to "color space transfer function = Srgb" and "RGB color space = DEFAULT" • Specular, roughness, glossiness, and displacement should be "color space transfer function = Inverse Gamma 1.0" and "RGB color space = DEFAULT" • Certain metals and dialects also have incorrect ior, so you're going to have to double check them so they're correct. There's a littany of charts that show you the correct ior for gold, aluminum, graphite, etc. Trust me when I say you guys need to do this because I've been smashing my head on the wall for years in regards to getting the correct results from Quixel to V-Ray. I can't speak on Corona or Octane as I'm a V-Ray or die cat. Thank you! I always wondered why my imported assets look different in Max than the preview in Bridge. The assets were all so smooth and lacking that bit of extra detail. I’m definitely gonna try out the steps you’ve listed and update you when I get better results. Cheers!

You coud've mentioned that you can download every asset for free if you install Unreal Engine

You don’t even need to install unreal engine. Just make an Epic account and you can download the assets for free.
