good to see someone like you pick the Nektar... usually everybody just jumps on the Native Instruments or Akai bandwagon. keep puttin out that DOPE isht.

Thanks, Hazel! I just purchased the LX88 for my S1 Pro and am ready to dig into the keyboard. Your video really helped to show how easy the flow can be within S1. Thanks!

I think I’m going to get this, I dig the way it looks. Every review has been pretty positive except for noisy keys in travel. This is going to be a hobby, so I hope this isn’t overkill, I can’t even play piano lol. Good video regardless
@pattycakesrecords31235 жыл бұрын
good choice, to be honest for the price range I don't think it's overkill, usually, a keyboard that easily integrates like that, are priced way above. And there's no compromise on the quality unless you like weighted keys.

Hi Angel, this product is discontinued so i won't be able to make a video for it but you can find a step by step installation and troubleshooting for Bitwig on WIN right here: nektartech.com/bitwig-setup-and-troubleshooting-impact/

This is gonna sound dumb but what happens to the values of those faders when you switch modes. For example if you have the volume at 40 in instrument mode if you click the mixing button does the master volume of the mix now sit at 40% since the physical location of the fader hasn’t moved
@hxzelmusic3 жыл бұрын
Not dumb at all. If you have installed the proper controller software for your DAW, the faders will recall position as you change pages, what it means is that they won't affect the softwares fader position until they reach the same value.

hi dear , i hope you are as well , i want this controller to change the VSTI's Patch . can i ask do you use the sylenth1 , refx nexus , ni massive ,...etc??? do you need to link the knobs to the vstis or they are Premapped? and can you change the patches and banks of this VST'I's? thanks

How do you put any sounds on the pads (from bitwig for example)?

Hi.What can you say about knobs and faders sensitivity. I have studio one 1. Have you any problems now with integration?
@hazeldizzy62016 жыл бұрын
Татьяна Москаленко never had any problem, the knobs work fine and the faders have a position memory, which means if you move them around that won't mess up your mix.

I have a question for you. I used to use studio one 2 artist with impact lx49. Now I've just purchased studio one 3 professional. but I don't know why the integration is limited although it used to be ok when it was on studio one 2 artist. I mean that the mixer with 9 fades, mute and solo with 9 buttons, and transport functions are ok but the 8 knobs(i don't know what you call it) are only working on pan adjusting, not working with changing the values of attack, gate, cutoff, etc. I installed the integration file 'Impact_PreSonus_Integration_Win_1.0.6'. Can you tell me what i missed and what I have to do for that problem?
@hxzelmusic6 жыл бұрын
Hey man, the rotary knobs are affected by the function you're on. they serve as panning on the mixer page, if you click the on Instrument page (inst button) it should change the function to whatever it's assigned by default on your Plugin, to customise their function, click on the preset page and click on the gear icon on the top right of the plugin window to see the assignment options.
@MrBratbody6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your answer. Sorry to bother you, but still I haven't got any change from intergration between the instrument stuff and rotary knobs, the others are perfectly ok though. I know about assigning functions to the knobs or faders on the lx49 controller but I would like to know whether the same is the case with you. You're changing the values in the mai tai with a fader or a knob on the controller. Is the result from assignng the function to it before making this movie? It's a little bit stupid question but the previous artist version was working well from the start without any assigning process.
@hxzelmusic6 жыл бұрын
i haven't had to to do anything for it to work out of the box, i'm assuming that there might have been something wrong when you did the update, try re-installing the new drivers from nektartech website?
@MrBratbody6 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately, I've tried many times what you adviced but nothing has happened. And I got a email from nektartech saying that It's not possible to pre-map the instrument controls in Studio One and that I can do that myself using Studio One's MIDI learn. I don't know why it's different from you but I think that most of the bulit-in instruments is integated into my LX49 and I can map the rest of controls myself, too. So I think I'll do what I can from now on. Anyway, I really appreciate your help.

how did you assign the record, play fast forward, etc functions. Can't seem to figure it out

All you have to do once you downloaded and installed the S1 template from Nektar website, is to go to options -> external devices -> add , select impact LX control and choose MIDIN2(inpactLX49) in receive from
