Horace he passed away in August with a massive heart attack. He was 55. One of the Preacher's that did his funeral said Stephen could have sang the phone book and it would have been great. I agree 100%. His song "Something Within" is my fav song. Thanks for the kind words.

Horace I loved Jake and Vestal, Glen Payne and Jessie Dixon a great great deal, but Stephen Hill was my personal favorite of the entire bunch. What a great loss his death was. We had all the others for a very long time, but Stephen was so young.

We sing and a black church had us sing. We were so taken back by their singing that we set there and ask them to sing. Loved every minute of it. We actually had a lot of fun. They would sing and then we would sing. We couldn't sing it like they did but we tried.

I also wrote the verses sung by Stephen Hill in 1977. I had a child by my grandfather and my parents took me for an abortion on New Years Day. I had hemorrhaging afterward and thought I might die. A Spirit-filled sister in my church prayed and the bleeding stopped. Thank God! He never leaves us alone.
