I would like to know where the Goldies name came from . We had the 1960s version not far from there. Way before the propane and pellets. But there is only 1 original bbg pork . West Tennessee. Not Memphis BS . Memphis still can't compete with the slaw BBQ sandwiches. From West Tennessee. If you don't have the slaw don't bother.

Got to try goldee's a few months ago and definitely holds up to the hype. The whole experience of waiting in line, making friends with the other people in line, then you all grab a table and eat together.... Just such a good time. Absolutely cannot wait to get back out there sometime!

I went to goldies this past weekend and they do not play around! I couldn't even get to try the brisket they ran out so fast, but those pork ribs!!! MAN! Fall off the bone delicious!

It may not be the #1 BBQ joint in Texas, but it was one of the best BBQ places I've ever been to. Their brisket was flawless, not to mention ever thing else was delicious that I tried. If you ever get a chance to try it, you definitely should, and I hope you enjoy. 👍
