I agree for a lot of people doing 12-hour days sound insane. For me doing 10-hour days are pretty insane already. Balancing all the things you have going on can make things hard. Choosing to let some things fall out of your daily habit in favor of a challenge or deadline is okay I think. But don't make it too long, because getting the old habit back, might be hard. Yeah totally agree, definitely not sustainable long term at all. honestly i think if the work was more split up, and not ALL 10-12 hours being the mentally demanding coding grind, it wouldn’t be terrible, but most of the time when you’re just starting out and have a full time job, that’s what it is which just makes it even more repetitive and draining. hard to keep pushing that long on a daily basis for sure

Cool dude. But a little feedback on the website. Animations should amplify the experience and not hide the text you know. Try to make it more subtle i think it is quite annoying to wait for a text to appear lol.

19:00 upvote via session id might not be smart, you can easily clear cookies or incognito and you'll never know if your upvotes are legit. To be fair, just make authentication necessary for voting, saves you a lot of hassle

yeah i was considering that, just seen other platforms out there handle anon sessions so i thought i’d give it a try. you’re right though its gonna be hard to make a perfect solution for anon users

you could also use ip addresses to prevent duplicate upvoting for anonymous users. I'd imagine anonymous users can simply clear cookies or restart their web browser to get a new session id therefore being able to still vote multiple times.
