Thank-you Peter. I really enjoyed and felt encouraged watching your hands do the work and not a machine. I always thought I was doing something wrong making my own coats, I could never match the plaids with a machine as well as I can by hand. I really would love to learn more from watching videos. I don't mind if you don't talk. I can't concentrate on both anyway. Many thanks gentlemen.

Thank you for sharing the skills of a true artisan. Your channel has taught me so much about cloth quality, and stepping outside “the norm” of blue and grey attire.

Maintaining skills like this through generations is such an important calling, I feel. No amount of AI and technology can ever replace the feel in the fingers and experience needed to master these crafts. Looking forward to your future videos! I wish you great success and satisfaction with your work!

Very nice. I for one would be interested in follow-up videos of how this coat progresses. Thanks for taking the time to give us an insight into how you make these lovely bespoke suits.

One of my favorite videos yet - such a pleasure to watch Pete in action. He seems like he'd be great fun to get a pint with as well. Hope you made it over here to the US and had a nice trip.

Lovely. Pete's mitts fly through the job, I'm sure if I tried the sweat would have been dripping from my brow in concentration! Hope one day to get back to ol' England and come a knocking.

I think you might have to wait until October for the US. I enjoyed the video, reminds me of my mum who worked in the East End in the late 40’s and 50’s doing much the same on woman’s clothes.

Can somebody tell me what Peter answers at 6:57 ? I understand "button goers", but as English is not my mother tongue I don't have a clue if this is accurate. Thanks for this (again) wonderful video, and what a beautiful sewing machine!

Do you have any suggestions for books on pattern drafting for tailoring? I have been searching for good books for drafting and have come up empty handed for the most part. I would love any and all suggestions. Keep up the wonderful videos and THANK YOU!

Thank you for your kind comment. I'm sorry but everything I like is no longer in print. However, if you can get it, The Art and Science of Pattern Drafting by R N Bulsara. Thank you for watching.
