Thank you for sharing! There seems to be less information about digital forensics than most other Cybersecurity fields!

This was painful, he asked straight questions and she gave so many vague answers 😭.

Even with a digital forensic degree its mostly impossible with no tech background. Internship is invaluable and most certs expected are mostly pricing out those not in a higher paying job. Would suggest being familiar with IT tech or pursue cybersecurity then hone in on forensics

Any advice if you are in your late thirties, have an education in IT and always been more skilled than average in computers, but just not the experience to get jobs? Whether I get interviews or not I am almost always having someone chosen over me just because they are more experienced.

I hate when employers make a job so difficult when its not. Cybersecurity is suppose to be in demand career, but they all want you to have 3 or 5 years of experience. You need a degree some say, or another, you just need a certificate. Most probably had no experience because they know someone. None of these jobs want to train you they want you to come from other job already experienced. No one has thought…if your getting hired with my company I'm train you how I want you to do the job. That's why some business struggle now they lean on the experience that the employee received for another job. My 4 year degree was a complete waste of my life and money. The worst decision ever to make without a scholarship or a having a degree that will pay you back. Criminal justice is not the degree to have.

Very interesting. I have lots of questions that might help me move out of retirement and into a second career so I might have to call that number....
