I've been applying for greyhound driver online since 2016 and I call the greyhound corporate office to talk to the hiring manager for driver. I been trying to get hired as a driver put someone had told me that I need to have a CDL to go through the training school class or do they just help me to get my CDL license while I'm in training school class & to be test on for exam to pass everything. Also I been get the run around about getting hire for greyhound driver in the south of Louisiana in Shreveport.

I been trying forever to get hired on as a driver for greyhound. I had talked the head manager about pull my application offline and told me that I wasn't qualify to drive for greyhound as a driver. They just don't know I'm a good driver and really missing out on a good driver because I don't have a CDL. Some time give a person a chance to prove how good of driver that I can be to be train for greyhound line bus company and short of driver everywhere all over in defferent state.

Hello Phillip, I rode on Greyhound couple of times and I talked to the drivers. They told me "go for it!" I have a Class A CDL. I need a medical card, can they get that for me at Greyhound? We are moving to Chicago from Cleveland suburbs, is that a good route out of Chicago. I've been checking for openings here in Cleveland and no luck. Also, do they pay transportation to training and where would I be training at? Thank you for the videos and God Bless You. Pm me with more info. :)

Not hard. You just need to add passenger endorsement. It's just an additional test at the dmv. You will still need to go through the greyhound school process too.

Thank you Phillip, I appreciated your video. I used to be a railroad engineer out of Sydney Australia. Greyhound and the railroad has a lot in common. A couple of questions. If you don't get 40 hours a week at the wheel do they pay you a minimum guarantee earnings. In the railroad they are very strict on engineers not turning up for work affected by drugs or alcachol and you must be punctual. They don't want trains running late because the crew slept in. If we were due to start work at 6 AM we were paid full rate from 6 AM. We were allowed to work for 11 hours
