My intent was to make this a 12-14 minute video. It quickly ballooned. Thanks for watching

Wow very detailed info. Another way to go is to work as an in-house developer at a non-tech company. This can have some advantages over the big tech company such as not having to commute or live in a high cost-of-living area.

I've watched two of your videos and I think your content is really comprehensive and insightful. I'm glad to find your channel, not as popular as others but even better than those. I'm feeling like finding an actual good mentor. Best regards Donn.

Here’s the thing, you’re never going to know everything. It’s a study the basics, and master those fundamentals. When you apply for new gigs, if there’s something that you don’t know, be honest about it, but inform the client you’re positive you can pick it up and learn it. If you’re unsure about it, go check to see if there’s any tutorials or courses on it. If so, then you can probably learn it.

It's been a year since I finished the app, and I haven't gotten paid by my client yet. Very stressful. I've put my sweat and blood into perfecting it, only for it to get cancelled and for the company CEO to get rid of all employees and left with no money to pay me. All I hear is promises.

I find it funny when in Western society, people consider 60hours of work a week as a huge burden. It's pretty normal here in the East even in the developed country. Ps, I got introduced to kotlin from your channel. Thanks!!
