The short answer is that Fidelity is great about understanding this is a learning process. In general, honest mistakes are viewed as training and coaching opportunities and not an excuse to belittle or berate employees.

What schedule choices do I get to select from? I love to work early mornings; what is the earliest I can work? The other question is, they advertise "Hybrid" workload. Four days remote one day in the office. Is training in the office? Or hybrid?

I want to get hired by Fidelity but I do not live 90 miles from one of their locations. (recent phone conference informed me of this). I don't want to move to Colorado, but I would like to relocate to Texas. I do not know how to get an answer as to which location to relocate to. Is Texas only IT positions there? Or do they have CRA positions there? I know NC has a center. But I don't see a phone number where I can call a recruiter to get these questions answered. Thanks in advance.

You mentioned if you have other accounts you need to show Fidelity, does that apply to credit card/auto loan debt, and crypto holdings that aren't on exchanges (cold storage)?

Basically you have to disclose "covered accounts". The best I can remember, that is anything that is a security like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. However, there are some exceptions. If you have a TSP or 457 that isn't supported at Fidelity, you obviously can't move it. Normal checking and savings accounts should also be exempt. I didn't have to disclose crypto holdings either, but that might change now that Fidelity has its own crypto division.

Why did you leave Fidelity? Is your new job with a competitor?

There were a lot of factors like returning to the office, stress from constant customer complaints, and just not being passionate about crypto anymore. I still think they're a great company, but at the end of the day, it's still a call center.

I've had some health issues over the past 4 years that have prevented from doing some of the work I'd really enjoy, mainly being physical labor related jobs such as delivery work. I tend to be a pretty nervous/shy guy but I'd really love to start a career at a welcoming company with a supportive community. You think Id potentially be a good fit?

Sorry this is a bit late, but I think its worth applying! Fidelity is really big on activities and team building, so there are lots of opportunities to get involved. If you are looking for a supportive place to encourage you to be more social, then I think it might be great. Especially now that they are going back to 50/50 on campus and at home, co-workers are going to want to take their lunch breaks at the same time as you so they can chat. We had some people that would always take their breaks at the same time to go play ping pong. It is totally fine to be shy, but you'll definitely have people trying to pull you out of that shyness. I hope that helps.

Do they require you to have a degree?

When I went through the process a degree was not required. Once you get hired, they have a lot of programs to help you earn your degree.
