I can honestly say one thing about you guys: you're very skilled and incredibly brave. WOW, look how high you guys are. Your mastery of this job is nothing short of terrific. Just so bloody high guys and doing a job as well, not just hanging about but removing cladding as well. Well I'm speechless, I would not do that for any money. Whatever they are paying you is not enough, just soooooo high guys. I'm scared witless and I'm just watching you. I recommend throwing a second back up device on the other set of ropes before moving between anchor points. I personally like to throw my hand ascender with footloop on the new main-line after I have it in the chest ascender. Great video and great work!

Choke hitch on a sling reduces swl by 20% not 50%, double it over increases swl by double eg 1t =2t. I worked with rope access on oil rigs (dope on a rope) as we call them 😂 anyway fantastic work. Also a good tip is to wear thin gloves when fitting because them lvl 5 impact gloves is like wearing oven gloves when fitting screws ect.

@@Grasscutter69 I also use thicker gloves and still cutting the fingers of. I’m a tower climber so different strokes for different folks but cut gloves are what I go with, thick or thin. Try it out.

@@VanadiuM140291 I watched it again and it’s not a big transfer so the chance of a big pendulum is pretty low. With hindsight it’s just like a re anchor rather than a big rope to rope transfer. Costs nowt to throw an alpine butterfly in and chuck a cows tail in though if you don’t have another backup device 😅

I'd be more worried about hanging in the croll without a hand ascender above it. That is only allowed when stationary and plumb, i.e NOT mid transfer. No reason not to put it on first, you need it to change over anyway.
