This pack makes me realize just how many people have never seen the words scythe and macabre written before 😂 It really do be like that sometimes. I’ve come across some words before and was like, “Huh. I’ve never seen that written before.” Scythe is pronounced like sigh-th. And for anyone else who may also be unsure, macabre is pronounced more like “muh-cob” like corn on the cob Watching Deli renovate the house is always a fun time. I can’t wait for the full release to see her build her own Romanian styled house with the rest of the packs and renovate the other build. _And cemeteries_

You said it feels wrong to take change from the dead sims, however that depends on how you look at it. In ancient Greek people would give their dead some coins or at least one coin (it would be placed on the deceased's tongue iirc). These coins were meant for Charon, who takes the deceased across the river Styx to the underworld. People did that to make sure that their deceased gets there and finds peace. It could be a similar story with your grimtern Ivy.

I think the feature of looking through the pockets of those you're reaping is meant to be funny. After all, in the movie The Princess Bride, Miracle Max says, "There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do...Go through his clothes and look for loose change."

There's a fellow in the village close to our farm who grows black roses. I think they're actually a very deep dark red, and not actually black, but they certainly look black 😉😊😂 The curtain fabric vest made me think of Gone With The Wind. 😂😂😂 And the Carol Burnett sketch where she makes the dress out of the velvet drapes and leaves the curtain rod in. It's sitting across her shoulders. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Awesome series btw! I love Dampe’ but lending a bit more Zelder reference maybe a character that doesn’t live in the current household but is named, Ganon who was evil in the game Zelder and wanted to kidnap the princess but in this let’s play he wants to be in a relationship with Ivy and bump Dampe’. I know both Ivy and Dampe’ are apt to die but I could see an interesting love story brewing and some great twists with the deceased toying with the evil living. Death can live again and love can overcome evil

So far, this pack looks pretty good. It doesn't seem to have any BIG bugs, and I just love the theme. Playing as the Grim Reaper's intern, what could be better. I'm going to create a gypsy fortune teller who will read the cards for you and hold a seance. She'll have a son who acts and looks a lot like Don Lothario. I also want to create and build an old Romanian castle on the big, open lot in Mourningvale. It will resemble the Jidvei Palace, but smaller. An elder who is a historian and researches and writes books will live there along with his son who is a Grimtern. Think Anthony Hopkins and Hugh Jackman. The castle will be both "on hallowed grounds" and a haunted lot. Thanks for the play through.

I tried making a sim into a grim intern but on his first assignment there was no body at the location. I think there was a conflict with a mod (not a surprise) but then the game said I was running out of time to reach my quota for souls. Grrrrr. So I tried killing innocents walking past and the game wouldn't let me do anything to them. Boy I wanted to though.
