Working for the Lord | Rise & Shine

In the second chapter of Paul's second letter to Timothy, Paul encourages readers to continue working for God and to pursue Christ even through suffering. He uses analogies to help readers understand. It is through Christ that we may have life. To help pursue Christ, Paul warns readers to avoid quarreling over senseless controversies. He then uses an analogy of vessels to encourage Timothy to separate himself from his teaching by shunning any evil desires and pursuing righteousness. Jason and Ryan highlight what it means to flee from evil and to avoid fighting.
