I returned to WFH today with my 5 weeks old. It was challenging but I managed with a baby carrier and holding her in my arms while I was taking phone calls and video call meetings. Hopefully, it'll get easier

Thank you so much! This is such a realistic video. I start back working from home soon and my daughter is 3 months. She’s my 3rd but thankfully my other 2 kids are older so they are independent and more of a help when they like playing with her to distract her. I’m soooo not ready to go back. I never worked while my boys were babies so this will be a first. My husband also works from home so we will juggle and struggle together. We also have a dog that drives me absolutely crazy during the day….he’s honestly is more work than the baby but he’s still a puppy ( he will be 1 soon). Our babies have similar personalities but mine sleeps longer only because I do contact naps during the day and feed on demand. I’m glad you didn’t try to make it seem like you have everything perfectly together which you see often on here unfortunately. You gave such a real video of a DITL of a working mom with a baby. Everyday with a little one while working is challenging but those little smiles make it all worth it. I love that you take time for yourself as well…..that’s so important! You’re doing a great job! Just know it will get easier!

How do you do hair/makeup, make breakfast, eat, make the bed, and feed/burp the baby all within an hour before you start work? It takes me at least 30 minutes just to feed him and he only sits in the bouncer for about 15 minutes before crying 😭 I'm about to start WFH this week with a 3 month old and he doesn't like pacifier or carrier 💀

@@emilyk.5664 my makeup routine has become so minimal (quick mascara, lip stick, occasional concealer if time allows) 🥲 When she was this age I ate more overnight oats (prep at night to save me time in the morning) - I have a video on this btw! Baby is breastfeed so she was always just on and off real quick! I get it 1000% they’re hard to entertain at this age! I ended up becoming a full time stay at home mom (for now) but it became very overwhelming!
