This card is provided for NON EEA - Third-country nationals admitted or authorized to stay for an limited period. The period of validity of the electronic A card coincides with the duration of the temporary right of residence.

hi Please answer me, do years of study count for obtaining citizenship?? When studying in Belgium for foreign students, are there university rooms and accommodation? After graduation, you must search for housing. I heard that in Belgium there is a housing crisis, right?

Years of study only count when you already have permanent residence. There are definitely accommodations available for students you just need to find them. Of course after graduation like any other country you need to find housing because you’re not a student anymore

I think that permanent residence is given to foreign students automatically?? A student can only study with a residence permit 🤔🤔

There is a difference between student resident permit and permanent residency and student resident permit is not issued automatically you have to apply for it at the municipality. Student permit has to be renewed let’s say yearly and a permanent residence after 5yrs.
