It depends on who you listen to. If you take the opposition parties word for it, we are being overrun by brown gang members. In reality, we have the most empathetic government in our history and whoever is against that lacks empathy themselves.

Aucklander here. Love visiting Wellington to see my brothers family. Always good times.... heaps of nice walks... love the hills... even love the wind (it's windy here in Auckland too). I was actually born and bred in Tawa which is a northern suburb of the Wellington metro area between Johnsonville and Porirua. Place is amazing.

Loved the trains in Wellington when I was a kid. I remember a conductor in the 80s who played the mouth organ as the train clicked along.

It's an early spring day - and almost no wind. Train trip in from Melling is twenty minutes. Wellington is a beautiful city.

Wellington trains are great. Used them for 21 years. Met my wife on my usual train home. We had our wedding photos in the main concourse of Wellington station. Parking is okay weekdays, but a nightmare on weekends. Best to catch trains into Wellington on weekends. Good to see you have decided top become a Hutt girl 👍

Nice I feel your love for Wellington as I have grown up there and left and realise my heart is there too yep used to travel by train and buses and all that walking around the city was normal and doesn't matter if your born or grew up or new to Wellington the certain charm captures you! Well not for everyone and not perfect like anywhere else but for me the simplicity and beauty that'll do me 👍

that's melling station. probably one of the most congested traffic lights and bridges there is in the whole of Wellington when driving in the Hutt valley otherwise train is great. amazing city and I love it.

I go to wellington at least once a year. Legit that New World is my regular every time cause I stay at the waterloo on the corner before I do my thing in the stadium at the other end of the train station. I work there a couple days a year.

Auckland has more rain and more ‘notifiable wind’ than Wellington! 😳

Surely everyone knows this by now?
@boomertuxx2 жыл бұрын
@@DB-thats-me Auckland may have more rain but I can't stand outside in that Wellington wind for more than a few minutes without freezing solid. It's fun though but I need to hardern up... I spent 9 years in Wellington as a kid.... and 3 years in New York... the winters in both places make Auckland feel like the tropics lol.

I've found Wellington trains to be pretty reliable. Buses are not! Make sure your shoes have decent grip - sidewalks in the CBD feel slippery when it rains. Other than that, it's awesome to be able to walk anywhere in Wellington CBD in just a few minutes once you get there. Source: American that just moved to Wellington recently.

Hi Tara, Just a thought... Please pan your camera a lot slower - try half the speed you were doing. Less vertigo for the viewer, and you won't wobble the camera so much either.
