As an old git, this reminds me of a mix of 80's electro RnB, late 80's acid house with Brit electro indie aka new order. Cool track. 🔥

What I love about this band is that they're not afraid to explore and reimagine sounds that have come before. I'm afraid to call them influences, more like a library or scrap book of ideas that they rummage through to find what they're looking for. Plus, lovely people. I had the immense pleasure of seeing them play at a festival (in a prison) in Vilnius, Lithuania in mid-June.

Love this new group, bought the new Album, see google, the only good thing to come out of 2020, hope they do well, as i'm sick of hearing manufactured groups and these are a breath of fresh air - fresh as the video was shot around Manchester and Peak District.
@karl94114 жыл бұрын
Well ,they are not that new ,they've been around a few years now .The vid wasn't shot in the Peak District ,that's the wrong side of Manchester ,it was up near Tod .The sound is definitely from the Manc 80s era .Theres a scene further North away from Manchester given its lost its soul to money, steel and glass .Some good bands are in the valleys up there around Rossendale ,Tod ,Hebden ect .Theyll all be busting to do live stuff when the doors are open again .Well worth taking a visit to the Golden Lion ,Trades Club ect .Also check Shunt Voltage ,similar retro stuff .

Lyrics Trapped inside a town Inside my mind Stuck with no ideas I'm running out of time There's no quick escape So many mistakes I'll play the long game Winter is a curse And this valley is my hearse When will it take me to the grave? [Chorus] Why is the darkness so strong? I'm feeling broken again So many voices I fight The fusion is right as the sense Why is the darkness so strong? I'm feeling broken again So many voices I fight The fusion is right as the sense [Verse 2] There's a reason for this life The soul's just a light Have you ever thought about it? There's no reason for this life The soul's just a lie You need to think about it
