Working of Miracles | The Holy Spirit Gifts | Bishop Owen McManus Jr.

This Sunday our Bishop continued in his latest sermon series entitled, Holy Spirit’s Gifts, and this week's focus was the working of miracles. Last week we made reference to the overlap between healings and miracles, how the two gifts are often thought of as one and the same. Miracles are supernatural intervention by God in the impossibilities of man - in some cases, there are miraculous healings that take place in people's lives, but that's not where miracles end. Miracles take place in an instant and in whatever way necessary to meet the needs of the receiver, and to bring glory to the God who intervened. Miracles, just like the other gifts of the Spirit, demonstrate to us the supernatural power that distinguishes the one true God from any other.

Finally, a site where the minister actually shares miraculous accounts in his own life. We should put God in a box. Not all miracles have to be "worked." God is at liberty to do as He sees fit. Sometimes, God just wants to do it by Himself and the best thing we can do is GET OUT OF HIS WAY!
