Working on a 97’ XCF 440!

My dad had one of those 91 500 sp's new...thing was so sweet at the time...gotta have the sp also...the non sp didnt have cool shocks, decals and a couple other things the sp got

Those XCF are great sleds when probably tuned by someone that knows how to tune them . I bought one two years ago and the sled was cosmetically in great shape , engine bay was awful.

Yeah, I wish I had more time on it. My buddy wanted to buy it from me and he got it running just needed a better fuel pump and new spark plugs.

Primary clutch pins are rusted to weights on 97 xcf

Guy who bought it got it running great. Sleds a ripper. Hasn’t said anything about the clutch to me.

Lol over reved the hell out of it without the belt on and slammed the sheaves together...likes it And your going to foul your plugs playing throttle jockey man...better editing this video though and fun to get another one running. Btw those are 488s oem so someone did an engine swap or you read the numbers wrong

I said in the video I forgot to put belt on. I know I messed up. All part of learning. We all make mistakes
