This is honestly the kind of content i want. you're not mindlessly spouting the same three lines over and over again thinking it's funny like a lot of the brain-rotted car people here on youtube. You don't throw the veil over to hide what is going on in the background. Maintenance is maintenance, you gotta do it. Folks down south don't have to winterize, they got it so easy the bastards 😁 One cars an easy thing to do this to, this amount is a PITA...especially if the weather doesn't cooperate. I love seeing about the seat recovering, I'd always wanted to try it myself....might just hire someone after all 😂 Between the "possessed" pickup and the new Ball Warmer 2000™ install, this was a great video!

No joke, those cheapo Chinese heated seat kits are actually really damn good. I've put them in about a dozen seats and every install has been excellent. My Tundra has them, my wife's Jeep has them, two of my Subarus have them, and I've put them in a couple friends' seats. I personally haven't ever seen any issues with them, as long as you use a relay for the main power to the switches. Well worth the investment. Plus, there's a lot of them available with aftermarket versions of the OEM switches that will fit into the switch blanks on a vehicle that didn't get them from the factory. Fair warning, they do take a while to warm up the first few times until it gets "broken in", I guess? Works a lot better with the car running, and with a good power supply, and boy do you feel it when they come on!

@@PoleBarnGarage hell yeah, I'm glad they work well for ya. I'm spoiled now, being in Michigan, I gotta have heated seats in everything 😂 I was a bit concerned about the seemingly thin wire gauge too when I first put one in (it was a Dorman kit from Amazon), but looking at the wiring in OEM heated seats, it's really not much different, surprisingly.
