Hi Cecil & Heather , looks like its colder - when working with plastic conduit , to clean the cut ends of burrs etc, the easy way - rotate any conduit off cut on the inside & outside of the conduit section that you want to clean - this will remove all burrs. Ed,

It might be to late, but you want to leave some slack in the ground wire going to the ground plate in case the plate settles over time that it doesn't break the wire/connection under ground. Also, don't forget to strap the PVC to the house. Thanks for taking us along on your journey!

This is a big project for you two, but I have no doubt about your capabilities. You will be safer once you are hooked up to the grid. You can rest inside your cozy home this winter, and watch the snow storms.

I congratulate you on getting on the grid. Love all your videos, especially this one. When you "walk" forward with your tractor/digger, I 😂 just about died laughing 😂. All I flashed on was the dogs when they have an itch in a certain place. Best video EVER! Stay excellent!

I would assume that UG wire and pipe will cost you a lot. Such a big project for you all. Enjoy the convenience but the cost will suck! Happy Thanksgiving to you and Heather! ❤

I think it'd be awesome to get on the grid. You can show us a whole bunch of different things you do I can't wait to see what you're doing with your Ford and your pole barn man that's going to be excellent to be working in there ton of space Happy Thanksgiving from the United States and thank you for the video

I know you will be enjoying being on grid. That is the first ground plate being used. We are required to use a ground rod.

Thanks guys. The way You described the transition of the Horizontal Pipe seemed confusing ?? drop down 11" ?? Are You not gonna put in a large radios sweep to the vertical riser.. Not often I see a Ground plate used. I have 2 8ft Rods at the House and 2 More at my shed and they are outside the Drip area of the House & shed so they do not dry out. When My Tower goes up I will have at least 6 Rods under the base of the Concrete block that supports the Tower.

Don't you have to put a sweep fitting on the rise from the bottom of the trench so wire can be pulled?
@SkinnersHomesteadingАй бұрын
Hello, The electric company does that here...we just glue it together then they install it when they pull the wire. Cheers!
