Glad you are feeling better and love the roof. The addition of color in the shutters brings so much "life" to the house exterior. Not sure if the family would approve of that term but your details in the shutters are fantastic. The widows walk railing is perfect and it was so generous of Heather to help you out. I can just see Gomez driving golf balls off of the roof between Uncle Fester's cannon shots!

The finished effect you have achieved with the shutters and railings is incredible, Ara. Pure MAGIC! 🔮🛠 You fill my heart with gratitude and joy...I have been a fan of yours for many years. I first fell in love with your work because you are fearless when it comes to aging and distressing your pieces (delicious!)...but I've stayed a fan because of your wonderful ability to teach, entertain, charm and beguile me. You have ALL the skills, girl: you can engineer like a madwoman (!) AND you can show US how to build minis that have soul, whilst making us giggle and fall totally in love with the wonderful Soul that you are. Your kindness and generosity are LEGENDARY! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to contribute one tiny touch to the Epic Addams Family Mansion Extravaganza. Looking forward to anything and everything that you care to share with us - because you have a fan for life. Yep. 💗😍💗

I agree, from what I've seen (a binge-watch for the last two days as I wandered through the Adams Mansion), I'm beguiled! Every touch is so inspired and just perfection. I should be writing a novel right now, actually, but... thanks for the invite to explore and thanks to all who contributed their part, too. (I take decades to write some of my books, so I relate.) It seems to me that Disney's Haunted Mansion certainly was inspired by at least two main sources: The Haunting (original movie) and the works of Charles Addams, which added so much fun. This work could easily go on tour when finished to absolutely delight young and old. One guy does this model trains in England -- here's a fascinating trick (at 7:00) that he did: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHyromyuqZJjhJo (Long hallways?) Anyway, I truly enjoy what you're doing and the way you're doing it. Best!

Poor thing! You don't sound well at all! As soon as you can get back to bed (I know it's impossible for mum's!) and look after yourself! I love the brilliant Widows walk that yourself and Heather came up with...it's brilliant! The way you used dwelling to sandwich the railings is really authentic looking as in Scotland, even though most of the railings were taken down in WW11 to make munitions, the railings were set into granite blocks with holes in them (which were filled with cement after the war) and the effect, when railings are replaced, is very similar to what you have achieved. I think the architecture where I come from is mostly Edwardian and Georgan but I think the majority is Victorian and is similar to this. I know a lot of Gothic touches are added but in the most part, you look like you are achieving the correct look.

Ara, I just discovered this channel and am watching your Addams playlist in reverse order. My current diorama project is 1:64 scale, but this is all still very inspirational stuff! I love how you are always trying new techniques and teaching yourself and your viewers how to use them. Quick question: I've seen those neat adjustable-height lights coming down from your ceiling in a couple of videos. What are those called? I'm interested in getting a couple.

Hi Ara! I love your channel and thank you for sharing with us your tips and beautiful works... i have a question, did you buy a kit of this mansion or did you built by your own? (Excuse my english im french...) did you choose your dimensions yourself which stick best to the film obviously or did you follow a precise plan?because i want to do the tales from the crypt mansion/house and i m still looking for the good way to start (i didn't find a kit) a mini maquette, then the dimensions... thank you. You do an amazing work!

Do you have any insider info on if the Bentley Kit will be added back on Etsy? I see her youtube is private now and it looks like the facebook and instagram accounts have been deleted, or I just don't know how to find them.

Totally agree with you, Heather is amazing at what she does. I'm a fan of her work too. Looks like I've missed some of your videos lately. I've been busy gearing up for my daughters wedding on the 19th. I'm looking forward to having a binge to catch up soon. Absolutely LOVE the shutters! I can't wait for a chance to try them for myself. Are the felt and bucket so that Gomez can practice his putting? I think I remember him volleying shots from the roof but I'm not certain? I hope you feel better soon xo

Congratulations do your daughter! I am sure you have been crazy busy getting ready for the special day💖💖 And yes you are right about the golf green for Gomez ;)

Hello. If I may, what later cutter do you use?
@BentleyHouseMinis5 жыл бұрын
It is a cheap K-40 laser cutter. It works ok but we have had to make a few upgrades on it to do what we want it to do. The more expensive brands probably need less upgrading.

I totally understand! I am currently sick in bed, but I need to finish my costume for my Halloween party on the 26th. 😳😬 I’m glad you are feeling better! Take garlic daily and you’ll be good. I have an autoimmune disease and avoided getting a cold or the flu all season last year. I forgot my garlic for about a week and here I am, sick! 😭
@BentleyHouseMinis5 жыл бұрын
I hope you feel better soon as well Sondra! I have never heard that about garlic but I should try it out. I like garlic so it wouldn't be too much of a hardship ;)

Bentley House Minis thank you! ❤️ If you don’t want constant bad breath, you can get it in pill form, too! 🤣 Garlic is one of my favorite things to add to a dish. Yum! 😊

I'm ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY in love with this dollhouse! Could you share where you purchased the original?! I'd be so incredibly thankful!!!!!
@BentleyHouseMinis4 жыл бұрын
Sure! The original part of the house is called the Alison Jr Kit which is from a company called "Real Good Toys". You can also get the add-ons through the same company that create the side rooms and the conservatory. I am so glad you like the house!💖

Great job!!! Everything is slowly coming to life 🖤 are you going to add any shutters to the window on the side of the house or do you have other plans for it? I tried to see if someone else asked but did not see it lol. All the little touches makes the masterpiece! FORE!!!
@BentleyHouseMinis5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Emm! I don't think I will add any other shutters to any other windows at the moment... but you never know! I am esp cautious about the sides because its the most likely for something to get knocked off ;)

Lol, I know what the bucket and felt are for. Is it that the roof is cursed, or that your colds are cursed? Could it be that you only think about working on the roof when you are sick? Lol. The shutter technique is amazing. Will you be providing that file publically? Or do you plan to sell it in your store eventually? That is definitely the best shutter technique I have seen. When you are attaching them to the walls, would using masking tape help, or would that damage your paint? Maybe a little superglue, just so you don't have to hold it so long, or even Alleen's fast grab? I don't know. The house is looking awesome! You are getting so close to being done!
@BentleyHouseMinis5 жыл бұрын
Haha it could be any of those things Heather... or a combination. When I am sick I can't help but work on a roof lol! I hadn't thought of releasing the shutter file because I figured it would depend on the size of your windows if it would work for you. I need to research if there is a "standard" windows size in dollhouses. It could make for a good starter kit for me to try out though. Thanks for the idea!
