I'll be posting a video on the P2 Secondary. I believe that there's a lot of thoughts of confusion and black magic with how secondary's work. In reality, they're very easy to work on. Probably one of the easier things to do. I'll also post some tips on re-installing the skid to make it easier.

Sounds like you're doing what I just completed Tom. I didn't tear down the secondary though and I didn't get into the primary, I sprayed both with some Comet clutch lube and going to go with that this year. Next year we'll get at those items and drop the skid to go through it. Just too close to the season and around here if you're not ready when the snow comes you'll miss it. It was -6 this morning with a wind chill of -50, so no riding today. Look forward to further videos.

This sled was pretty neglected. I'm hoping to have the rest of the parts in next week. We received about 2" of rain on Friday and then the cold front moved in and locked everything up. It's been a slow start in the Northeast and warm temps are predicted for next week as well.

I've been watching a lot of your videos lately. In one of your carb cleaning videos, you stated that you were going to do a video on the mission helmet. I don't know if you posted a video or not. Great videos. Really great channel you have.

Awesome. Thanks for watching! No problem regarding the Mission. I’ll post a video of it this week while I’m off.

Hello always great content 👌 quick question, i have a 2009 polaris iq shift 600 carb with a 121 track , i was wondering what colors of springs should i use in my primary and secondary clutches as just a stock setup? Also is there an easy way to test my springs to tell if they need replaced , always helpful always great videos thanks again.

For clutching. There’s a lot of options out there. I would reach out to a couple of the manufacturers such as Bikeman Performance or Venom Products and see what they recommend. Typically springs should be replaced every season or 1500 miles. They have a minimum height they need to be. If you’re questioning it, just go ahead and replace the spring as part of the maintenance. 😀

Hello any advice on my 600 shift , started it for the first time this year and I have coolant coming out of my Y pipe ?

One of 3 things. The mechanical seal on the water pump is leaking The cylinder base gaskets are leaking The O rings on the heads are leaking. Either way, the engine should come out for diagnosing

Thats a serious engine downgrade in my opinion swapping a 600 for an 800. Bc you loose engine reliability for 1 and 2 they cost more $$$. Just sharing my thoughts

Refresh my memory. What was the discussion of the 800?
