Thanks so much for this information. I wish to come to Canada for masters program bringing along my husband and 3children. If I work part time and my husband work full time, will our combined income be enough to pay my tuition, our monthly expenses and take care of the children too?
@DTruth-dv8ib4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't be able to say for sure that it'll work that way for you but you could look into loans/scholarships to offset some of your expenses(Just as a backup plan). Thinhs dont usually work how you plan it, so it's good to have a plan B incase yours and your husband job doesn't cut it. All the best

Hi, how possible it is to study as a mother of 2 kids in Alberta, and is it possible to cope with part time work while study also. I will appreciate your response. Bcos i am planning to come to canada with my 2kids as diploma student
@DTruth-dv8ib4 жыл бұрын
Hi Daymust2007. I will say this, studying while working parttime is absolutely doable especially if you land a job at your school which will be scheduled around your availability. However, this fact depends on alot of things, namely, how old are your children(can you leave them alone while you work and/ or go to school) will you be relying completely on your parttime job to pay your tuition and living expenses, etc. Take into consideration that you may have to use childcare services while school is out, which is not cheap here in Canada, plus you still have to focus on your school work, after all that should be your main focus. Take all these into consideration Daymust2007 and plan accordingly. All the best

Very helpful! Thanks for making this video. Since you are a master's student, I am wondering if you have any classmates who are studying while being able to hold a 20 hr per week job that's not minimum wage and maybe is relevant to their bachelor's degree? I don't know what you major in, but do you know of any students at your university whose part time job is accounting, developing websites, nursing, consulting, fitness training or selling real estate? In theory these seem like flexible jobs but I'd like to know if it's a realistic plan for university students in Canada

Hello D, I just have one question. Did you attempted GRE exam and if yes, what kind of score does concordia expects? Waiting for the reply, eagerly. Love your videos btw. Keep 'em coming.
@DTruth-dv8ib4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ankit, Concordia didn't require GRE scores when I was applying and the last time I looked into the requirements(2 weeks ago) I didn't see anything about GRE...but you can check their website for more info on that. I'm almost certain it's not required though.

Hi, I was accepted to school in Toronto and for my study permit, they are requesting proof for payment of tuition. Any suggestions on what I should provide if I have not paid any tuition yet?
@DTruth-dv8ib4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nicki D, make a deposit to your school and submit a copy of the receipt. I've never heard of anyone getting their study permit approved without some proof of payment whatsoever(not saying its impossible, I just never heard about it). Find out from your school the minimum amount they'll accept and make that payment.

Please let me get this thing right, do you actually pay per semester or per year. Please i need clarification on this.
@DTruth-dv8ib3 жыл бұрын
I pay per semester. The cost per semester is dependent on the courses you’re taking that semester. Some courses are 9 credits, some are 3 credits and there’s some that has no credit so your semester fees may vary from semester to semester.
