I’m not even a musician but I love these kinds of documentaries because they always have engaging main characters nicely done🤘🏻

Great documentary. I was working for Sound Image as an engineer in the early 2000's and worked with many bands on the road. We all got paid for the set-ups and tear-downs but we did the shows "for free". I loved it. I did it until the wife said "you missed your boy's first steps." No matter how much I loved it, I was back home that next weekend. He just graduated so guess where I'm heading? As I recall there is nothing sexy about 7 stinky guys on a bus but the atmosphere was great.

Such an inspirational documentary!! So nice to see soneone not jaded by fame!! One of the highest motivated musicians out there. And a fantastic human being to start with. I firmly believe it was divine intervention that I came across this documentary. I have been fighting cancer and was literally about to end my life prematurely when I came across this and his story was inspirational in stopping me. Thank you Rich. And to your band mates as well.

Loved being a part of this. So much talent and so many top notch professionals. Makes me miss grand gee too. I owe a great deal of gratitude to you guys for inspiring the man I am now. Forever grateful for David taking a shot on the filthy mouth rapper from Hazel Green.... Hope you're doing well Rich! - Stephen (Finesse)

So I’ve been playing bass for two yrs. And I don’t understand the musicians in my town that won’t help, are people so afraid of others. It blows my mind.I’m not after their jobs I just want to play. I’m pushing 50 as it is lol. I appreciate your willingness to teach others. Your bass player sounds amazing. Awesome documentary.

"We can program this later." Happens a lot. One of Nashville's top drummers, Paul Leim, has midi sensors on all his drums and records the midi while laying down killer tracks. He knows that the producer may want to do some...augmenting in post and accommodates that.

Yep. Don't even need that now. It's all done with Pro Tools in the box.

My 3 favorite drummers: Carter Beauford, Jimmy Chamberlain and Rich Redmond. RR for his ability to play with command, serve the artist , the songs and live performances. And great attitude.

Thanks for sharing, Rich! Awesome stuff. So good to see someone with such a fantastic attitude who is part of a team of like-minded, creative musicians playing together. These are such uplifting stories. Sorry to hear you were hit by the flood, but to maintain your attitude through it is fantastic.

Just watching this. Man, if it was you playing in Denver, Oct. 2021 with Jason, you were a badass and serious! Loved every minute of it! Always been a fan of drummers, started with a set of sticks I got from Chris Layton in Alaska right before SRV died.

Rich has it figured out. I will testify, as a producer, what he says here is gospel: master your instrument, don't be an asshole. As to those curmudgeonly old players... sometimes I need those guys, but I know I will have to manage them. I do and we always part friends having laid down some great tracks. First and foremost, this is a people business.

That flood...one of my first call guys made the comment that the fact that the rental agreements specifically stated the facility did not have flood insurance...well, a little common sense would have suggested that place was not the place to put your stuff.

6:06 thats the shit! The snare hit is life. I would hate to be in the studio with “jokers” like that all day. I’d go crazy, but i guess they joke like that because they think thats what a “personality” is. The drummer may be nerdy or whatever but he has heart and passion. That is what music is about!
