Sundays 😊 Gibbsday. These landscapes were just beautiful. I'd like to see you head towards the grasslands and badlands drumheller way. Otherworldly. But Adam honestly you say you repeat yourself but the landscape is always changing. So it's incredible to watch you break down a particular scene so forensically and see you do it on a waterfall. Rules are the same but the context has radically changed. I'm so glad I found and follow your channel. Its really the best of its kind. Presentation, music, subject matter and the humility within it all. Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing it all with us.

Great Video Adam...I wish I had seen it before I drove north to see the fall Foliage as I always struggle to find compositions when there are many trees! Love the multitude and variety of great shots you got! I would have probably overlooked them if I were there. Just a reminder to slow down and spend some time in one area to find the compositions.

Indeed a beautiful time of the year... and again beautiful, relaxing background music to your video.. so glad to hear you respecting drone regulations... models great (and legal) behaviour... love how the dark "V" shape (aprox 6:40) leads to the first bright tree trunk, but then you trimmed it out in your crop... at about 11:55 you noted the subdued colour... in Manitoba the drought has really caused a rapid change in foliage from green to brown... beautiful rim light on the trees at about 14:50.... Great advice on 'working' a scene... I think I like the presentation at about 22:47, although the full 16:9 pano is gorgeous too... nice video camera environmental composition at 24:00... great teaching moment with the clumps of trees around 26 mins... such minute adjustments make the difference, so I can really see why you use the geared ball head that you do.... the cross over logs really caught my eye and nicely presented in your vertical image... a GREAT video, we can learn from our images when we have your instructional advice as ammunition to use in critically viewing our own work... Thank You!

Good video Adam. I like how you show your process of composing and what you look for and how to separate the trees. Great images. The fall colours in South Central Ontario are very muted this year and a bit on the late side which is really disappointing. But as they say we can't have it all.

Finding order, much less beautiful order out of chaos really requires such dedication and vision. It’s a full time gig that will wear your ass out. I got to a point where I never wanted to see a Forrest again lol. I had to go to the urban landscape and have really loved it. Same challenge with new scenes. Rust, peeling paint, glass and steel. Abstract man made chaos.

You have a great 'eye' Adam, something I struggle with unless I have enough time and the patience to wait for an image to reveal itself through the fog of confusion. Also, I would find it hard to resist the temptation to tidy away some of the fallen branches at the base of those birch(?) trees. Great stuff.

I could watch you shoot autumn colors and aspens over and over again so don't worry about the repetition. Believe it or not I've never thought of keeping all of the trees from overlapping before until I watched one of your videos. Now it is something I try to work on when I'm out in the forest. Some day I might even achieve it! 😁

Gorgeous scenes Adam, the compositions are beautiful...You have helped me in numerous ways, i.e. returning to the same scenes is so important for a host of reasons as you have repeatedly explained in so many of your videos...I noticed you are back to using the GH-Pro II on these shots...I have been using my new gearhead for a couple weeks now, should have done this years ago. I shot a woodland scene on my property using the GH -Pro II, only to return to it again & the 2nd visit was the key to my success on a arching fallen snag using that gearhead both times. I've done some closeup mushroom work with it as well, the gearhead has proven itself to be the game changer for me, because now I have absolute control on fore & aft as well as L to R for dead on leveling with machined geared accuracy using my new Sunwayfoto gearhead...My Acratech GP Ballhead with lever clamp is neatly packed away in it's original box until further notice! Bill on the Hill... :~)

Very nice Adam. That first comp, the tree with those red pinky leaves you said it was a dogwood? I saw something similar when I was in Utah last week. I wonder if it was the same. I’ll have to do some more research. Loved the comp with the crisscross logs in the foreground. As far as repeating yourself, it may always be the same concept but you’re never in the same places so it bears repeating. And I’ll presume people just like to see all the cool places you get to go. Repeat away!! Thanks for the great video. 👏
