Loved this video. Has been very imformative for me as a support worker looking at working in this profession. 😊😊😊

I love this brilliant video. Half-wish we could move to Camden. Those two who voted to dislike it must be Americans or non-UK residents who feel hurt/insulted because they do not understand that in UK (as in this video), learning 'disabilities' mean 'intellectual' disabilities & not learning difficulties such as [they may have like] dyslexia or dyscalculia. In USA, they call learning difficulties - learning disabilities. A case of conflicting terminology.

Learning disability or difficulty? The difficulty is something with the right help it overcomes. Certainly not the help from Tavi or CAMS, INVENTORS TERMS PRE-AUTISM, SEVERE AUTISM, ATTACHMENT 2THERAPY"( just theory.) AND OTHER BS.

I wish people in the UK with intellectual disabilities were not referred to as people with learning disabilities. I really hate it. It is an insult to be people who really have learning disabilities.

Yes it causes so much confusion. I clicked on this video thinking they were going to talk about specific learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, ADHD etc.

Yes. It was very misleading. We didn't hear the clients point of view but only the staff's. I have a learning disability to but it does not effect my intelligence. You're right. The term " intellectual " disabilities is not only insulting but it is stigmatizing.

Why the chromosome diagrams? Thought they were psychiatrists not eugenicists, or in genetics.

I heard all the professionals point of view but not the clients. It doesn't seem fair that I only heard from staff and not clients. There are two sides of each story and the story isn't complete until you hear the other side.
