Working with Wefts - Xiaomu (NamcoXCapcom) Wig

i've been wig interested for a very long time now my parents have only just allowed me to own 1 wig and it's a cheap rubbish wig from claires accessories it is so matted and weird i AM DYING TO HAVE A GOOD WIG FROM COSCRAFT! but they are way too expensive. so the reason i am commenting on this mainly is because have you ever tried to make a long haired wig out of wefts? and is it even possible without the proper wig base? i think my best bet with my parents is begging them to let me have bright coloured hair extensions that i can make out of the clips and the wefts coscraft offers~

HannahQueenOfAir Hi Hannah, you need a lot of wefts to make a wig - Coscraft's wefts are £5 each and with the number you'd need to make a whole wig, you could just buy an actual Coscraft wig for cheaper! So a couple of coloured wefts and clips for hair extensions might work out better for you - you get a LOT of hair in each weft as you can see in the video so perhaps you and a couple of friends could get together and do an order together and you can divide the wefts between you? To cut a weft into smaller wefts, all you need to do is pop a small bit of super glue where you plan to cut, to stop the thread from unravelling, and cut once the glue is completely dry. yeah i checked out their web and i see they have a wig in sale one of the charlie ones and the prince in the same colour. a few of my friends are allowed to cosplay im in my first year of a 2 year college course. so i really like the idea of using friends to help get the wefts n' stuff~ (as long as i can pay them back and hide things from unaccepting parents im good to go~) XD so thank you :3 i hadn't checked coscraft in like a year and it really has changed! cheaper wig caps! holy moley! clips are only 1 quid! they used to be 4!
