Thank you Jim. I just wished I had known about this channel before i started my paperwork. It would have saved me so much stress. This was one of the questions in which I didn't know what was the best thing to do until I asked another lawyer on her live. She answered and told me I was lucky because many lawyers are gate keepers and don't share this information unless you hire them. Now I'm so glad I told the truth😊

Thank you for this. What is the permit process for working while waiting AFTER I-130 approval? Is the I765 the way to go to be on the up and up please? Thanks, Jim so much.

Would unauthorized work also be, the foreign national working for their national/home country remotely while they are in the US? Is that still considered unauthorized work?

Thank you for the information. You talked about the greencard for the case of marriage, how about if someone is a student under F1 status or a tourist and happens to win the Divesity Visa under the lottery program and he/she has been working without permission. Does the same apply to such a person?

Is this the same for fiance visa? What if the fiance starts working as soon as they get here and then they marry within 90 days. Will the adjustment of status forgive them also?

Hello sir! You don’t know how much your videos have helped me. I am a citizen and I applied for my husband. He had to start working because we didn’t have a choice. We have the interview soon and so asked him not to lie and tell just the true. Now I know I did the right thing. I hope he doesn’t get penalized.

But someone don't work unless they either have green card or work permit. What if they were working by saying they were us citizens and then married us spouse. Do they still get forgiveness from uscis?

Hi Jim, Can you make a video on this same question but with a marriage to a green card holder? My spouse and I (green card holder) got married in April. In May we filed and his Opt ended. In the same month he got into university to maintain status and was on Cpt. Application is still pending but in October for a few months he was not on Cpt but was working, I am a housewife. What will happen?

You should naturalize to become a U.S. Citizen before he applies for a green card. Unauthorized employment will not be forgiven in a marriage to green card holder case.
