I'm looking to do something similar. Really useful video. Thanks!

Hi Tom, thank you for the nice compliment. Check out my other video - Workmate 400 Upgrade, kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJPKaoypfdRpY68 - this has made my workmate one of my most useful items inside and outside of my workshop. - Best regards John

Since the table is a vise, why the additional vise?
@BrightSparkIdeas2 жыл бұрын
Jean Paul - Good question. I have found the Workmate 400 an extremely useful addition to the workshop and very useful for clamping large pieces of wood. Although I have even used it to work on large doors, I personally did not use it for working on small items. I always ended up going to my smaller vices for working on smaller items or for intricate work. That is just a personal preference, but that was my experience. As I often use the workmate outside of my workshop the added convenience of having a small woodworking vice or an additional option of the metalworking vice provides me with the most convenient options.

On those lag screws for the ww vise. Is that the right size screw?...I can't seem to find 7/16 thread size by 1x1/2 screws.

Hi Eddie, I apologize, the lag bolts are 1/4 inch not 7/16 inch. Sorry to drive you crazy looking for the wrong size.
