If I wanted to do the same thing you did and upgrade my standard black belts to red stripe. Once my seatbelts are removed and shipped out, can the car still function with the seat belts removed being the electrical plugs have been unplugged? Or will it trip a sensor and blow an airbag or something?

I moved the car from my driveway to the garage with the belts out. You will have an airbag light on the dash as the front belts work with the airbag system. The airbag will not deploy but I do not recommend driving without seatbelts.
