9:54 I had a teacher in high school that made us recite, ‘Proper prior planning prevents poor performance’. Needless to say that it’s still in my mind when planning any project. Great stuff Marty; it’s a joy to watch your dreams come true, especially after all these videos! thanks for sharing 😊

As an old electronics tech that does fire alarm. Today, I surprised a job supervisor with my speed. I had a plan before, the job was done in 2 hours not 8. Work smart not hard. Thank you IBEW for erasing seniority.

Get a giant sticker measuring tape for your bench top. Like a fish measuring sticker for a boat, only longer. Or just carefully mark it out yourself.

I'm waiting for my solar panel kit to come in. 400 watts two H8 batteries in a 27 foot fifth wheel. I'm in north Florida so I should get plenty of sunshine. Running and showing the hook up is really going to help me in this little adventure. Just got my new paddle for the kayak so hopefully will be on the water shortly

I believe you might want to consider more lighting under your workbench. It's going to be pretty dark under there after you get things tightened up and begin to use your bench tops.

Could you make a catamaran sailboat from a couple poly kayaks? Could you move your solar panels to another trailer in full sun to get better charging?

I have a separate chop saw with metal blade on it but boy do I hate cutting aluminum. It hates being cut. It overheats and leaves ridiculously sharp thin slag at the cut mark.

Hi Marty, The LED lights are 12v DC. Is there a reason why you used the plug to the inverter converting from A/C instead of coming straight from the battery bank to the lights? Your shop is looking great btw! Thanks!
