Wow that’s a great amount of interesting information about natural dyes, the equipment to use, & how to keep safe. Never thought that the type of pot metals would make such a difference with the outcome of the dyes. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video & valuable information!

WOW!!!! Thank you soooo much for this video and for sharing your knowledge with the world!! I having being trying to find someone to learn from and it seems like people aren't willing to share info unless you pay them! Trudi is like the Bob Ross of natural dying, you can tell she truly loves what she does and loves teaching others! thank you thank you thank you!

This is an informative lesson with all the safety considerations included. I've recently taken an interest in natural dyeing and viewed numerous videos but never came across any with all the safety precautions included.

This is wonderful. I really like the Captured by Color series. They really are some of the better videos on KZbin about dying wool and natural dyes. I like that its recorded in the same style as television workshops used to be like with Bob Ross or Martha Stewart, except more intimate. Nowadays people just snap their fingers and the videos jump to finished products, or it seems like most instructional videos are like that. This is much better.

For Sharon Bergaman: Eucalyptus Cinera (also known as Arglye Apple or Silver Dollar Gum) is available from many Australian nurseries and florists often use it as part of their bouquets.

Welcome to today's premiere of Captured by Colour with Trudi Pollard Sewalt. As the moderator of the live chat, I will be sitting with Trudi and conveying her answers to our viewers. Questions which require a more complex response will be answered in detail via www.pollarddesigns.com/. When a question requires a more complex answer we will let people know. Today is a very special day for Trudi. Trudi and her mother and father were freed from Japanese captivity in Indonesia. Today of course marks the anniversary of the end of World Wat Two and the liberation of people. Trudi also would like to thank all those who made sacrifices in the name of freedom. Today, we are fighting another war against COVID 19 and we, Trudi, Helena and JAK Films are very appreciative of our scientists, medical professionals and good leaders (think about what good actually means) who are leading the fight in the pandemic for all of us. Trudi is passionate about sharing her knowledge and listening to Mother Earth in her time of need. Pollard Designs and JAK Films sends peace, goodwill to the world and we hope you enjoy today's presentation. We hope you 'tune in' to this channel again on Saturday August 29 at 3.00 pm WST for the next on line workshop where you will see the results of all the colours that are captured and you will be stunned and surprised at what you will see. See you then. Peace and Love.
