You are SO lucky to have a 'too much wood in my massive woodshop' problem. Well done, quite envious though as I can only dream of having such a space that well organised.

From the looks of it you have a fair bit of ceiling height above the garage doors, I know you mentioned doing some shelves like Jay Bates has, i vote it's time for that video! One of the ideas I try and follow when organizing a work space is " Only things with feet belong on the floor" a teacher told me that when I was a kid and it stuck. If you make shelving/racks/cabinets for all the items and materials you store, it will enable to use your tools more efficiently and safely. Love the videos man! Keep it up!

I do! That's certainly in the plan, just have to find time to do it! That's great advice to live by, I will for sure keep that in mind, thanks for sharing and thank you for the support!

Yeah, but I'm not sure that it's something I'm going to be able to get done this year. I'm thinking that it will be a next spring/summer project

the shop is getting smaller by the day, ain't it? you might want to build that over the door shelf soon that we talked about before. you need some "temp" storage area. :>)

For sure, it's crazy! I gained a lot of floor room, but lost 4 walls in the move, so it's a whole shift in thinking about how to store stuff! I do, that is a project that will be coming up for sure! Time was running out on when I had to be out of the apartment so I just had to start piling stuff unfortunately!

yes on the wall space value. you could shut the smaller door and build a mini "wall/shelf" unit to set in front of the door. you might be able to get a 8'x11' wall space. you could still open the door for ventilation but the view would be blocked. food for thought.

Not a bad idea at all! Once I get a shed built and am able to store all of the yard tools out there, currently I access all of that through the smaller garage door, I may do that, it'd give me a ton more wall space!
