Laura, I know how it feels to see it from your perspective, where we're being generous with our time by watching your videos, but when yours come out I drop everything for the privilege of watching you inspire me for 10 minutes at a time. The work you do, and the art you make, has directly caused me to make my own work. The way that you see the world is communicated so clearly through the things that you create and the way you show us how. I'm incredibly grateful that you share those things with us. Please never stop building the world around you

So many of us all over the world are living in very troubled times, politically, socially, medically.. watching people like you make things reminds us all that we do not have to wait for governments or corporate conglomerates to do something - that we can each make small changes we want to see in our world (I mean, competent governments are a big help, don't get me wrong..), and if nothing else, it is great escapism for many who are having a difficult time. All the best to you and Ellen!

Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your videos, especially those about refurbishing your 'new' home. I like how you deal with adversity, finding solutions and how you deal with the team. Nice that you show the German spontaneous pieces in it. I'm from the Netherlands myself. I watched a lot of German television as a child and can therefore understand it reasonably well. I also looked at the program with the mouse a lot. I'm a lot older than you so I've never seen you in it but I really like it that you are in it.

I started watching your channel YEARS AGO because you made cool stuff and worked with Adam, then I kept watching as your style just hooked me - music, editing, lighting, graphics. I just love what you do and how your mind works. You honestly helped inspire me to get into the "maker" world and start putting things together with my own hands. Three or more years later and I can put together a nice looking wallet with relative ease when I knew nothing about it before. So even though I don't have a shop, or work with wood or metal, I've been introduced to this wonderful world of making by you! So, I think what makes you special is your enthusiasm and innovation thats been consistent all this time. How welcoming you are to all kinds of people and opportunities with no ego or barriers. So yeah, why wouldn't I stick around? 😊❤👍 ...also Smudo. 🐕 x

Another perfect(for the moment) solution. Love your screw and bolt supplier. I grew up in a small city in Saskatchewan, Canada. In this city was a hardware store that was stacked floor to ceiling with everything imaginable. The owner used to say, "If I don't have it, you don't need it."
