WORKSHOP | Play, Learn, Teach: Instructional Design Lessons from Game Design - Vince Siu

Learner agency is similar to player agency. Vince Siu, who is the Founder and CEO of Press Start Academy, an education startup in Hong Kong, and also serves as the Curator of Games for Change APAC-Hong Kong, will lead an interactive session that connects learning design and game design from #g4c2023. This 90-minute session will cover core principles such as agency, feedback loops, and creative flow. Additionally, we will look at case studies from Press Start Academy's portfolio of no-code, narrative-driven educational adventures. We will also preview a prototype of AI-powered Lesson Plan Generator, which is a visualization of the common concept of systems and variables.
