Workshop restaurant is located just across the Mandovi river from Panjim, at the entrance to the High Court of Bombay at Goa, in Alto Betim, Porvorim. When you drive to the High Court, you will see Workshop restaurant before you see the court
We reached early because Workshop gets busy with people attending the court, during the lunch break
Workshop Restaurant

Workshop first opened in Betim in 2017, and after tasting success, expanded in this new location in Alto Betim, with its amazing view of the beautiful Mandovi river mouth. There’s a cute story behind the restaurant’s name. Before the restaurant business, the Bhonsle family ran a fabricating workshop since the 1930s, which was passed on across the generations. Thus, when the Bhonsles ventured into food, they named their restaurant Workshop as well.
We took a table with a lovely view of the Mandovi river mouth and Panjim city
We have been told that Workshop is very good by lawyers at the High Court over here. So we’re very excited and we’re told that the fish thali is exceptional
Today we're having kingfish thali, modso thali, prawns in rechead masala fry, lemony virgin mojito and kokumito. Both the mojito and kokumito were super refreshing on that hot Saturday afternoon
Thhe modso rawa fry for my thali is a really massive helping. Roma’s kingfish is no less. Another huge slice
Our fish thalis have rice, prawns curry, clams, crab masala fry, prawn kismur, cabbage bhaji, gulab jamun and sol codi
We can’t get over how huge the pieces of rawa fry fish are
The prawn curry, had drumstick, radish and bhendi (lady’s finger)
The teesrio was different from the usual and absolutely delicious
To finish, we had a coffee rum panna cotta which came served with a gold leaf garnish
That was a truly lovely lunch
