Hi ...can I wrap the standard baffle on short shots with exhaust packing to achieve the sound of the quiet baffle...? Thanks man.

Needing to find the right baffle components that would fit my CS One undertail for the Honda CBR600RR, any chance you can point me in the right direction and how to take it apart?

Where can I get one of those motorcycle stands like you have on the front wheel? Please advise.

Sounds like the super quiet needs a tune, sounds like its cutting the power.

Recently found some used V&H Cruzers (31461) for my 2003, 750 Shadow ACE. The baffles look like they were wrapped at one time because of the remnants of fiberglass. Like my neighbors and want to know what fiberglass wrap I can use to keep the peace? Did these pipes come stock with a wrap? Yes, I got the jet kit. Cheers

Anyone know of a quieter baffle solution for a Vance and Hines pro pipe? Bought my pipe 01/22 after a lot of research including verifying that they sold a quiet baffle option, in 03/22 it was warm enough to test it and verify it was too loud for me. Called V&H in 03/22 and the extremely unhelpful politician on the phone told me that V&H had dropped the pipe and all accessories in 01/22. There is bound to be an aftermarket solution or perhaps one of the V&H quiet baffles for other pipes could be made to work, if you have solved the problem on your bike I would love to find out how you did it.

I have the straightshots full system with the super q, but when on idle is too quiet (sounds good on the move), I don't want it too loud for several reasons, but on idle it seems that I can hear all parts of the engine moving and no exhaust. I've heard that removing the padding it will get it on the right spot, but now the padding is stuck to the exhaust because of the plastic, can't remove the baffles, even if I wanted to try some "quiet" baffles, I can't remove the "super q". Any suggestion?

Did you found a way to remove them ? I'm having the same problem. The "super q" does help to reduce the loudness, but the nice sound of the mid and high range is lost. I was think to try the "quiet" or to use one "super q" and one "stock"

@@josephmatan42 yes, it wasn't easy and had to completely disassemble one pipe. Made a hook with an old clothes hanger and had to stick it between the baffle and pipe (I was able to pull part of it out after a lot of pull, twist, back in, pull, twist...) and with that hook I pulled small fragments of the wool, bit by bit. After a while tried again. Almost got it, more wool pulling... Then tried again and it came out. The second one same process but got stuck, had to remove half the exhaust and hit it with a piece of wood from the inside. Ended up denting the baffle (so you can see how much I was hammering the hell out of it) So yeah, installing with the plastic? Never again! Hope I was clear enough, not the main language and replying on the phone. Good luck.

@@edgar.almeida Thanks for your response!! I think I released the plastic because the baffle is free to spin (I spin it when the baffle was hot, and now it's easy to spin it even if the baffle is cold). However, I still cant pull the baffle out (only 2-3 cm (05.-1 inch)).

@@josephmatan42 mine started like that, I think is the wool the rolls and makes it stuck. I insisted on the pull, rotate, push, pull, rotate, push... until I was able to pull it enough to show the tube inside with the holes. Then I was able to start pulling the wool with the hook I made like I said before. Took me an entire day of hard work (muscles complained the next day)

@@edgar.almeida that sounds horrible... I was thinking maybe to tie one side of a wire to the tube threaded hole and a second side of wire to my car and then try to pull it... Sounds crazy, I know (like they are doing in the cartoons, when trying to pull a tooth...). By the way, after pulling out those baffles, did you find another solution for decreasing a bit the sound but without ruining the magic sound ?

just installed a set of quiet baffles on short shots staggered, was not a fun experience at all! the fiber glass wrap was too loose and didn't just nicely glide in.. they would barely rotate in the direction of the wrap and I couldn't even pull of spin it with vice grips.... I now have one seriously ugly baffle end on my bike... pretty disappointed @Vance & Hines

Pretty sure my short shots have quiet baffles... Still way too loud at low speeds. So, all of them are super loud.
