I was today years old when I realized this light even existed. Lol. I have 4 other Milwaukee lights, including the old rover that I got less than a year ago. Brother took that light, so now I'm going to buy this one.

Your reviews videos are very informative and your speech is clear and you get right to the point of the review which is what people want to hear and view.

Great demo and review. I just bought two at HD ($139 each, not bad?) to add to two of the first gen flood light (2360-20, I think). There are a lot of little refinements, as you said. One of the better changes is not having the strong detents on the head, so you can adjust a little more exactly, which sometimes helps even out the light. I completely agree that Milwaukee has the best jobsite lighting. Bright, color temp is correct, good choices in what the lights are in/on for mounting. Simply the best lights right now, in my opinion.

Sorry to leave two comments however if you have one of these for the low places and a rocket light or two and my favorite for up close and personal the 600 lumen head lamp you are set. You can never have too much light. My family has two businesses , we have a contract to work on heavy equipment and I started a remodeling company about ten years ago. I wish I had these lights lights years ago before I started my own company , to work on heavy equipment at night when they broke down somewhere in the boonies. Great review as always......

This light is already at the excavation shop and they will not let it leave.

I'm sorry but I cannot blame them....I really like this light. And even though it is brighter than the old unit it also last longer on a battery. I've never tested this however I think it's true from my experience , personally I use the 9ah in my 18v lights. From what I've been told by Milwaukee the cells in that battery were for designed for long drawn out use such as weed eater etc etc. I have the best luck with the 9ah even over the 12s...... just something to look into if u have the time.

That’s awesome, I was just researching this light when I seen the legend trailer you’re working in, I work there and install the diamond plate ATP shown in the video, up the corners and noseboard, thanks for reviewing. Bless you

Thanks for the review. I felt silly that I didn't realize that the mode button was for changing modes. I actually thought it was a label and couldn't figure out how to change modes. 😵 It lasted a long time on the 5 amp hour battery but not sure what mode it was on since I didn't figure it out until I was done and battery was pretty low. I can't wait to see once it charges up. Thanks again

Excellent lighting choice; saves on battery costs by integrating with M18 line of tools

Great review, very thorough. When you feel you've used the m12 rover long enough, I would LOVE to see a long term follow up review. BTW, do you have a twin with longer hair or something or do you just mess with us to see if we'll notice?

Debatinf between this and the 2144-20 radius compact light that produces 2000lumens and 1000 flood. Which is a better buy?

I have Milwaukee M18 tools and was considering this light but as per usual and like with all these work lights, it just doesn't tick all the boxes for me. Why on earth is it so big? it doesn't even have a built-in charger or any other functions for that matter, such like phone charging or power bank function and a tripod mount would be nice too. Still cant believe that in this day and age not one company can make a work light that ticks all the boxes... should be simple!

Great review Brian! I have this light running right now, as we had a really bad ice storm here! No power for hours. 😕 Chunks of trees came through my roof! 😧☹️ Went up in the attic with the ole Fuel SawZall, and a new pruning blade, and cut them out. Stapled doubled up heavy plastic on the inside, and sealed edges with Gorilla tape. All I can do for now. Sorry to go on about that stuff. I like this light, and I kinda not sure? I would have liked Milwaukee to have added some rubber over moulding around the bezel area, since it effectively lost the cage effect of the Gen 1 model. And dang Milwaukee, and their sharp edged plastics! It seems ‘cheapened’ a bit, IMO, but I got it on sale, and used my HD Pro discount. Will try it out and see. Side by side of the Makita DML811 light, the Milwaukee has slight edge. Makita tops out at 3000 lumens, but it’s a sweet light. You should check it out Brian. More of a tripod or floor standing light. It’s a hybrid also, and they give you a cord, and a place to wrap it on the light. 😃👍 Stay sFe and Healthy! 👍👍👍👍👍❄️❄️❄️😁✌🏻🔦🇺🇸

Seeing it on sale for $139... that just seems really high to me when you can get the Ryobi for $49 on sale constantly. Hybrid/dual power as well. It maxes out at 2400 lumens but I think the form factor is better with the design for hanging on 2x4s. 4000 lumens is a ton though.

Any light that plugs in should charge too, major fail on Milwaukees part. If they want to leave features out for price maybe some tools should be tiered I personally would pay more for a built in charger
@WorkshopAddict3 жыл бұрын
I would imagine it would add size and some weight, but it would be nice to charge also.
@sloanNYC3 жыл бұрын
Have you seen any lights in this price range that charge a battery too? I know DeWalt has some bigger, more $$$ lights that have a charge bay. Or the Packout 3000 Lumen light is $199.

I have a interesting question will a regular generator with a alternating sino wave damage these lights

I can't answer that.

@@WorkshopAddict it’s something I was wondering in case of the advent of batteries dying be it your camping or just a bad storm knocks out the power
@WorkshopAddict3 жыл бұрын
@@ztej I would think it would be okay. But I simply don't have a positive answer. Someone else might be able to chime in.
@evan_arc_16223 жыл бұрын
It will work fine. Where you run into issues is if you were trying to run a large ac motor off of this type of inverter.
@ztej3 жыл бұрын
@@evan_arc_1622 no I’m talking about a generator without a inverter I’m not quite sure what type of hardware/circuit boards are in the actual m18 lights my question is running the light from a cord with dirty power unstable sine wave because most LEDs require stable sine waves and for instance dirty power could cause the led light to flicker like police lights because of the unstable signal I’m just wondering if Milwaukee took this into account not trying to damage a expensive light tho you could just plug in a inverter or wave scrubber etc
@trdscfjc2 жыл бұрын
Huge disappointment not allowing the battery to charge when plugged in, and for that reason I'm out....👎
