World 5 Spiral Castle Lesser Known Secrets SMB3 All-Stars

Welcome back to Hazys Plays. I found this secret in the Sprial Castle on my way to my next two but in one video lesser know secrets in World 5 the Sky. I was amazed. How many have seen this?

the spiral castle is maybe the coolest level in the game or near the top.

I've known about that on the NES. I was 8 and tried the same thing you did. I've found tons of secrets in super Mario 1 and 3 before the internet existed. You can get both of those 1ups without a pwing but its much harder.

I remember finding this as a kid, it felt a little underwhelming just the 1ups. Any chance of making a video of clipping through the wall at the end of the thwomp gauntlet on the castle level of world 2?

The game has a number of these secrets throughout. Bad part is, they all require a P-wing to access, like those things are common!

If you play the SNES version you have save states. If you beat the game you get rewarded with so many P-Wings and can discover these things. So, I do agree with you especially if your playing the original on the NES because of no save states and then having to keep your system on. Thanks for your time commenting. It means alot.

@@hazysplays8766 also you can get the p-wings on NES. Except the Japanese version doesn't have that NG+ feature.

Man the other day i was playing smb3 in all stars ver and i knew, i KNEW about that extra life but didn't remember how to get it, i found it in gba ver but i didn't remember i needed to break some blocks i tried just to fly up but didn't work

Was at the Sprial Castle after setting up two star cards for the next Lesser Known episode. I suited up with a P Wing and explored. Thought there had to be something in any of those blocks hiding and then I think I hit the a real lesser know secret in finding that. I have never seen that before blew my mind .

Found this when younger, but unsure I found the extra off screen one. Being autistic, I just did all kinds of weird things on games, like HAVING to kill it ALL the cheep cheeps in Mario 1, my mom was thankful when I finally lost my fire flower 😂 It carried over to MMORPGs, where I would explore everything and all menus, finding secret glitches and monsters. Btw, please edit the video to zoom in next time? Watching on mobile is hard on the eyes because of the contrast. :)

I always like to play this level with a Tanuki suit so I can take out the thwomps and fire discs.

you can't take out thwomps with tanuki. Hammer bros takes them out.

@@hazysplays8766 Have you tried a pwing in Bowser's castle? You can find a Bowser that doesn't spit fire and then just duck and let him land on you. Or use a tanooki suit to land on the spinning circles while in statue form to kill them. Hammer suit to kill a thwomp
