Classic Tetris Monthly is a series of monthly #Nintendo #Tetris tournaments, started by founding mother fridaywitch in December 2017, and resurrected by vandweller in October 2018. Nowadays, it's become the largest NES Tetris #Tournament expanding to seven events: The Masters Event, the Challengers Circuit, the Futures Circuit, the Hopefuls Circuit, the Community Tournament, Tetris Deathmatch and Monday Night Chasedown!

Phenomenal! Just got into the watching classic tetris and it has reignited my love for modern tetris. I've been playing Tetris Effect nonstop for weeks and I can't wait to get my hands on a NES and one of these cartridges so I can start training classic! I appreciate your commentary and tournament series greatly.

both are allowed in most competitions, but at the very top level it's gonna be all original hardware

Why does the online tetris go so much fast then the normal nes tetris?

I believe it’s because every player is forcing the pieces down each time from the very start, not letting them fall at normal speed. So it seems “faster”

There's a button combo you can press on the start screen to start at level 19 instead of 0-9
