my favorite decks in the lore ironically are the antagonistic decks. Krawlers are really fun with their flip effects and there's something very satisfying about going full Orcust combo and shuffling back all the banished resources that were used up during my turn. P.S. free my boy Harp.

It is possible. They recently Errata'd ancient Fairy dragon so that you can't abuse its effect repeatedly and search out the same field spell over and over again like with Spyral.

Honestly this deck is probably the best way to introduce link monsters to a new player especially as it can naturally be upgraded by some of the other world legacy archetypes namely the Mekknights and Knightmars funny enough.

Another tech choice is Exodius, the Ultimate Forbidden Lord, which can shuffle back all your monsters for its inherent summon so you can resummon all the shine balls again

They really did have a chance to slow down the game, they really did, but then 4 sets in they are like "well might as well release the knightmeres, we already had spyral", just imagine link Era where games go past turn 3 and your extra deck isn't 70% gone by the end of your first turn.

I was litteraly wondering when this video was going to be released. World Chalice is my very first archetype when I started Yu-Gi-Oh! in 2018, and I still play it today. It's really sad to me that Ib the World Chalice Justiciar has to be banned...because she technically did nothing wrong. I know Meta is going to abuse it for search, and that both Girsu and Draconnet are Ib-1 normal summon, but I really hope she is going to leave the banlist for sins she's not responsible for. Edit : My prayers were listened. Thanks, Avidia ! Anyway, I love World Chalice, you love World Chalice (even if you don't) and I don't wanna hear a single complaint about World Legacy lore. I just realized this archtype is something everyone who plays master dule will have. The starting deck has all the normal monsters, you get all of the links from the gate, and most if not all of the support throughout. The only thing you dont get is avramax and i believethe blademaster card, which is a bit disappointing.

the problem with chalice is if played pure there is so many ways to disrupt the combos that its unplayable in competitive modes. you have to mix in the other archetypes like mekk knight or krawler to make it have enough gas...or *cough cough* snake-eye...but if do that then it defeats the purpose of an archetype and decks just become piles or random shit with enough gas to keep going. i feel like konami needs to focus on making decks relevant at being pure decks instead of releasing generic support to keep things piled up messes imo. and give support to the old forgotten decks like this.

Dude I searched up "World Legacy yugioh" cuz I had one card that mentioned it, I did NOT realize there's be a SEVEN VIDEO EPIC to be read lol Edit: (18:58) AND NOW I GOTTA RESEARCH WHAT THESE CHARMERS ARE TOO. FAHK. (20:07) Not that Ancient Gear Knight desperately needs its effect, but there's Gemini support regardless.... Actually, Genex Controller benefits as well. (20:28) Ooh-la-la... (21:03) Now that's interesting. Ancient Gear Hunting Hound is, as far as I can tell, the archetype's resident level 3, and acts as a walking/ barking fusion spell. If you draw that and this spell, you can transmodify it (if you don't need the fusion effect for some reason) to get Ancient Gear Frame, which searches AG Golem and (if destroyed w/o its effects being negated) summons that AG Golem to the field. Problem is, you're more likely to draw one of the archetype's numerous level 4s, meaning transmodify's only target (that I'm aware of) would have to be Ancient Gear Engineer if not some out-of-archetype machine (still new, forgive me for not knowing one off the top of my head). Good news is that both AG Hunting Hound and Ancient Gear Engineer are searchable with Gizmek Uka. "Why would you want to search AG Engi of all things with Uka?" Well if you've got transmodify in-hand, and no other EARTH/ machine monsters in your deck with equal attack and defense, and you for SOME reason don't feel like t-modding Gizmek itself into Ancient Gear Dark Golem (which is EARTH attribute for some reason) you can use Gizmek to s. summon AG Engi, then t-mod that into Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera. ... Or in other words, "You would not, and would rather go from Uka to Hunting Hound to then pull any of the legion of better level 4s the archetype has to offer if its fusion services were for some reason not of good use". Ancient Gear Canon, bless its engine, is probably the most searchable machine in the whole archetype and t-mods into Ancient Gear Hunting Hound. 500 ATK *AND* DEF, so works with AG Box, Machine Dupe, Uka, Link Spider, you name it.... buuuut there's little use t-modding it when you could tease out AG Hunting Hound directly without begging Nibiru to make an appearance. It *IS* notable for NOT having a once/turn effect on its burn damage though, so you could- Normal summon 1 AG Canon. Machine Dupe to have two, tribute both for 1,000 burn. Activate a set World Legacy Landmark to banish 1 World Legacy 'mon from the GY and re-summon 2 AG Canons, tribute both again for another 1,000 burn (totaling 2k this turn). If you have Link Spider in-hand AND World Legacy Landmark, you could Machine Dupe AG Canon to have all 3 on the field this time, tribute them for 1,500 burn, trigger WL Landmark to resummon 2, get rock'd by nibiru, then link off the primal being token (1,000 ATK) into link spider. TLDR: Lots of non-sensible shenanigans to be goofed with.
