I love when the horse sets his head perfectly and maintains it as he picks up speed!

Thanks Jacob for magnificent videos. Love your horses and the training that you have knowledge to give each of them. Are you still training and selling certain one in Shelby county Tennessee? Kindest regards.

Wow the best part of this video is the fact that you are riding This Magnificent creature on dirt not cement thanks for putting out such an amazing video I am now following you

You can really see the American Saddlebred in him in the slower gates. Then the faster he goes the Standardbred really comes out. Love that.

Why does the rider lean/pull so heavily on horse's mouth

Perhaps otherwise the horse would go faster, that means canter?

just curious to what would happen if you taught him to do that without a bit...it can be done you know
@isaiahcolwell88655 жыл бұрын
melbright100 it is hard to hold them in their gate at that speed

Isaiah Colwell so you say...
@isaiahcolwell88655 жыл бұрын
You obviously don’t know horses if you ask that you can’t just take them out there with a halter and make them go that fast and keep them in their gate
@melbright1005 жыл бұрын
@@isaiahcolwell8865 I know more about horses that you would care to know...LOL I am a vet...I don't really care what your answer is because its BS because I happen tp know first hand if you really want and know how to connect with a horse you can teach them anything...in the US the gaited horse world is a very very harsh cruel one for the horses involved...is this a fact???maybe not but is my opinion and all the name calling in the world wont change my views on that...so you do whatever you want with your horses ...they are yours and I don't care...good day :)
@isaiahcolwell88655 жыл бұрын
When you ride with a halter it’s mainly a quarter horse when you don’t care about their head set or them going into a gallop in this case you are wanting to keep the horse in gait and keep its head tucked in and it would be hard with a halter alone

Lorelei Hebdon that’s a standardbred
@FestinaLenteSometime5 жыл бұрын
It just looks so unnatural and forced to watch a horse run like that. You can see he wants to gallop and go. I realize it takes a great deal of talent but not my thing.
@horseshoe33455 жыл бұрын
There's no Tennessee Walking Horse blood in him. He's out of an American Saddlebred mare by a Standardbred stallion, doing a true racking gate.
