This is the 2nd vid I see like this. I was speechless with the first. At the start she looked like she just straight hovered forward. I still can't wrap my head around the way her legs were moving. @Michael Ortiz I just saw that other vid too, Cassidy something was the girl in that one & you’re right it did look like she just like hovered/glided in the beginning of the dance, like she was walking on water or air.. I had to restart the vid more than a dozen times to see if her feet were actually moving bc you could just barely tell that they were. Totally Amazing!!

The stiff arms are a rebellion against British rule. Unique to Irish dancing. The movements are much more difficult to do without moving one's arms.

I have read alot of comments on different styles of dancing, wether it's Irish dancing or shuffle dancing or even break dancing, each style of dancing has its own crowd and own unique style. So I guess for some who come on the Irish dancing videos and call it boring or whatnot, let's all just take a step back and realize that no matter what dancing style you like, just be positive and support all types. I'd think If everyone in the world was the same and watched the same dance, that would eventually get boring and we would want something else. Personally I like watching all types of dance, but I prefer Irish because good Lord, imagine trying to work everyday with straight arms and bulletproof ankles..😆❤️🔥❤️🔥👊
